Gregg Allman (Low country Blues)

 The name of Gregg Allman’s up coming album is “Low country Blues”.In this album,Allman’s first solo effort in 14 years and first for an indie label,Doyle Bramhall II  will play guitar and Dennis Crouch will on the acoustic bass, Jay Bellarose will on the drums,Dr. John on piano.He also mentions that he may be work with Burnett on a all new Allman Brothers Band album.                   


                                                                                                                        
Gregg Allman

Gregg Allman is a rock and keyboardist, blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter, best known as a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band. He was introduced with the band into the Rock, Roll Hall of Fame in 1995, and  He personally got a ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Award in 2006, from the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. “The Melissa” was the one of top hits in 1972 by Allman Band.He does not gets tired of singing.
According to Gregg he had a gift for song-writing, such as “Melissa,” which was written in 1967 with Steve Alaimo.
Until 1971,the band released 2 albums, gaining little attention, when they performed at New York’s legendary Fillmore East.
The album “At Fillmore East” was a sensation. To this day it is believe to be one of the greatest live albums of all times.
