Duckworth Lewis Method

In the cricket sport , the Duckworth–Lewis method (named after Frank Duckworth and Tony Lewis who made this method), also known as D/L method, is a controversial mathematical method to calculate target score to be made for that team which is batting as second team in the one-day cricket match or a Twenty20 (T-20) cricket match which was interrupted by bad weather or some other condition. Although, it is generally accepted to be a fair decesion and accurate way of fixing the target score, but it creates some sort of controversy because no one can actually predict what would happen in the game in its natural conclusion. Thus it generates some controversy. These days the D/L rule is being used in the India Vs South Africa Twenty20 Cricket series due to some bad weather conditions.
